Terms of Service

TL;DR: These tools are individually built and offered AS IS, currently free. We may show ads or accept sponsorships in the future to cover costs, but core tool functionality will not be locked behind a paywall. Always back up important data yourself.

1. Scope

Seanhan is developed and maintained by an individual. All core tool functionality is free and available without signup.

2. AS IS

Tools are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. Specifically, we do not guarantee:

  • That tools work correctly across every browser, device, or file format;
  • That output is accurate for any specific business use case;
  • That the service is always available without interruption or downtime;
  • The truthfulness, legality, or quality of any advertisement, promotion, or external link displayed on the site.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the site or from clicking any external link or advertisement on the site. Always back up important data first.

3. Acceptable use

Personal and commercial use are both welcome. Please do not use the site to:

  • Engage in activities that violate the laws of your jurisdiction;
  • Infringe on others' privacy, copyright, or other legal rights;
  • Send abnormal traffic, scraping, load-testing, automated ad clicks;
  • Reverse-engineer, bypass, block, or tamper with reasonable technical measures on the site (including but not limited to ad slots, anti-abuse, or rate limiting).

4. Business model and advertising

To stay sustainable, the site may display any of the following:

  • Non-intrusive banners or sponsor slots;
  • Programmatic ads via third-party ad networks;
  • Voluntary donations / tipping;
  • Optional premium subscriptions (e.g. higher processing limits, batch jobs, custom templates).

For any of the above, we hold to the following:

  • Existing core tool features will not be locked behind a paywall. If a previously-free feature ever needs to move to a premium tier, this agreement will be updated accordingly.
  • Ads are selected by third-party networks; we are not responsible for views expressed or products promoted therein (see section 2).
  • Data scope and cookie behavior for ad serving are governed by the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party resources and services

Some tools depend on open-source libraries. Each is used under its respective license, and we are grateful to the upstream projects.

The observability scripts currently loaded are all self-hosted and never share data with any third party; see Privacy Policy section 5 for details. If additional third-party code or services are introduced later, the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. User-submitted content

The tools do not require login and do not actively collect the content you submit to them (see Privacy Policy section 2). If you voluntarily send screenshots, files, or written descriptions via email or feedback channels for support or suggestions, you grant us permission to use that content for the purpose of that exchange, troubleshooting, or product improvement — but not for publication or transfer to a third party (unless you agree in advance).

7. Intellectual property

The brand ("Seanhan", sub-site names, logos, visual identity) is reserved. UI design and copy belong to this site; please do not copy them for commercial use without permission. Tools whose source is publicly open-sourced are usable under their respective licenses.

8. Changes and termination

We reserve the following rights without prior notice:

  • Add, modify, or remove any tool or feature;
  • Adjust page layout, branding, or pricing strategy;
  • Rate-limit, block, or refuse service to anyone violating section 3 ("Acceptable use").

These terms may themselves be revised when features or compliance requirements change. Material changes will be announced on the home page for at least 7 days before taking effect.

9. Limitation of liability

Except where mandated by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) arising from use of, inability to use, or misuse of the tools, or from advertisements shown or external links navigated from the site.

10. Governing law

These terms are interpreted under the laws of mainland China (excluding HK / Macau / Taiwan).
